Privacy Policy

Record Signal provides lead data sourced from publicly available probate and pre-foreclosure court records and licensed enrichment providers. This policy explains what data we handle, where it comes from, and how we protect it. For the rules governing how customers may use the lead data itself, see our Terms of Service.

1. Data we collect about you (our customers)

When you request a sample or subscribe, we collect your name, email address, and company name. We use this only to deliver your leads and communicate about your subscription. We do not sell or share this with third parties.

2. Data in our lead products

Our lead feeds contain information that appears in Massachusetts court public records. Our current feeds may include personal representatives named in estate filings and property owners named in pre-foreclosure actions. This information is drawn from:

  • Massachusetts courts, including the Probate & Family Court and the Land Court: public case records available through the court system.
  • Licensed data providers, used to supplement public records with contact information (phone, email) where available.

All source data is either a matter of public record or obtained through licensed commercial data sources. Rules for how customers may use this data are in our Terms of Service.

3. Opt-out & data removal

If you are an individual who appears in our lead data and would like to be excluded from future deliveries, email us at hello@recordsignal.dev with your name and the relevant public-record source if known. We will suppress your record from future exports within 5 business days.

4. Data retention

Customer contact information is retained for the duration of the subscription and up to 12 months after cancellation. Lead data exports are not stored by Record Signal after delivery.
